What Teachers and Parents are saying ::

★★★★★ Scientistic - I am passionate about teaching science to my first graders and this app is great The colors are great . The facts are clear, simple and understandable. Keep up the great work

★★★★★ Great for 4-6 graders. Accessible! All items read aloud. Great user interface. Keep this age level of apps coming!

★★★★★ Well Done, Beautiful -- For elementary students, this is a great app to learn about the Solar System and our planets. I gives some great information about the planets, even includes a knowledge game, and is really beautifully done.
The visual details of each planet are fantastic, too, and the ability to rotate around the planet or the Solar System is a nice, interactive feature.

A child will learn a lot in the one on one lessons that Astronaut Ashely gives, specially since the ability to read is not required to learn about our Solar System. Other applications on the planets, Solar System have a large amount of textual information, which young readers might find overwhelming, with iLearn SolarSystem they only need to watch and listen.

Pros and cons of iLearn Solar System : Making Science Fun app for iPhone and iPad

iLearn Solar System : Making Science Fun app good for

I love this app. My daughter is learning about the solar system in school and this makes fun and interactive!!
Lots of information in a format thats great for kids and the quiz feature is excellent. Similar colors make it a bit hard to distinguish between the images of Mercury, Venus and Mars. Quiz gives neat stickers which is a great idea to develop further, i hope these stickers can be seen and repositionned on a screen you could go back to event if you dont complete the entire quiz. I would also prefer for any kid oriented app to contain no external links such as facebook, others games/adds, etc, or at least to have the option of removing them by using the ipods settings.

Some bad moments

My kids love it! and its only a dollar! Nice graphics and a fun way to learn.
I like this app. I let my 3 year old son to use it as a learning tool. The goods: * Each "module" of the solar object is kept short, so it is appropriate for young children like my son. * The "quiz" or what it is titled "PLAY" helps to evaluate (in a fun way) to evaluate their learning. The "could be better"s: * Provide better "indexing" for the learning option, so the learner can choose where they want to start or what they want to learn immediately. At this time, we must always start from the sun, then keep pressing FWD button. Everyhing starts all over again, everyime we want to start. * Animation need more improvement. After a while, rotating objects just kept on moving the same way with the same background. The only thing that Astronaut Ashley does is moving her mouth. May be make it more like an animated slideshow that changes with the fun-facts. * With the last comment, I think it would be good to provide an option of showing a sub-title. Instead of merely listening to Astronaut Ashley, children can also read through what is being taught. * Add different level of learning with other fun-facts for more advanced level. This will allow children to learn more after they finish learning the earlier level.
When you download an app for your kids, and end up learning something too, its a great experience because it can be shared with the entire family. I found myself going through all of the play and explore screens just to test myself on what I did and didnt know. Well done, looking forward to more updates from Astronaught Ashley.
My daugher is the true expert when it comes for kids games. This is one of her current favourites.
Kids really enjot this app. It could do with more questions in the quiz but otherwise very educational & cute!
Im in second grade. Im having so much fun playing this game that I dont want to stop playing it.
